HJ knife confirmation please

Hello all,

Any issues with this one? Not familiar with this maker so I would appreciate a confirmation either way. Strange "hook barb" on the handle near the blade, any explanation for that? From what I know F.Plucker Jr. (Friedrich Plucker of Solingen-Grafrath) is a rare maker, correct? Thank you!

A Genuine Early hj knife thats lost its motto with ware & buffing i guess,

The Barb on the bottom of the blade is made there to hold on the leather buffer washer which is missing on this knife,

F. Plucker jr is a hard maker to find
