    the lion roars...

    Excellent condition lionhead sword... The prev. owner must of kept it in
    a time capsule. Gorgeous features with both faux ruby red eyes.
    A superb example.

      Once in a lifetime

      Thanks for all the positive comments guys. As Peto mentioned it looks like it was stored really well, probably in a sword bag or something similar.

      I just gently polished the blade by applying Renwax with my finger and gently buffing with a soft cloth - it literally looks like new - flawless! I think this was one of those "once in a lifetime" finds!

        you have a very nice sword in a condition not often found these days. This is one you should consider keeping. Be careful about collecting these swords as there are many variations and it can be catching! I personally find that a sword has more to offer than a dagger that is merely screwed together. There is considerably more work involved to produce a sword and it has always been my opinion that these under-valued.
