jwh 44 K98 bayonet...

I stopped at a local antique mall today where I found a dealer who had a couple of K98 bayonets in his case, one a mismatched clc1942 the other a matching jwh 44 (Staatliche Waffenfabrik, Chatellerault, France) in about as nice a condition as you could hope to find. This one came with a mounted frog marked enn/43 the code for Alois Grull, Taschner, Wien 75. Here are some pics.

Nice find. I often see bayonets at flea markets and little shops but never in this condition.

Great bayonet with typical rough finish to blade.

I can count on maybe two hands the luck finding decent militaria at decent prices at antique malls over 3 decades, so good show.
