Gilt Coloured SA NSKK Dagger What Is It Marine??

I just acquired this dagger out of a very old collection and I would love to know what it is. The nut, upper and lower cross gurads, and scabbard fittings are all a gilt metal. It is not just a patina as it doesn't wipe off. Could it be some sort of marine Sa or NSKK. The scabbard is black. The markings are RZM M7/62/38. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark.

Being RZM I doubt if it was ever a SA Marine dagger. What ever it is it's a great looking dagger. Are the fittings nickel and the scabbard fittings magnetic? If everything appears early except for the RZM blade ,it may have been switched at sometime.

                  dagger

The dagger is not covered in nicotine as it is actually not rubbing off. The scabbard and fittings are magnetic and the cross guards are not.

Any other help at all ?? Thanks, Mark.
