Hi to all.
very very new to this lark but everyday im gettin more and more hooked. I have never read as much stuff in my life and all because an old guy who live opposite me gave me his grandads ww1 german trench knife. Ive had it 5 days now and i cant leave it alone. When im holding it i can almost feel the history being absorbed. Im loving doing the research and the old guy is a keen listener to every detail i discover.
Me thinks ill be a regular on here as ive decided to start collecting ww1 german blades to lay besides my new baby. Its one of those crank handle knife cum bayonet jobs andim seriouslyin love with it.

Collecting close combat knives is very interesting but, also getting pretty expensive the last yrs. ! ...

That, and the friendly advice you can get from other collectors such as on this site, will keep you going.
