    Dagger Values

Hi all, I have a few daggers which have been in my posession for a long time now which were given to me by the wifes grandad.

I have decided to sell these after they have being in the attic for the last 5-7 years and feel that they would be better off in someone elses collection who doesnt have a wife that refuses to have them displayed in the house...lol

I dont really know what i should be asking for these and would greatly appreciate any help from members in the know.

    Thanks again, darryl

I don't know what the first two are they are not TR.

SA has a chance and that is a harder marker to find, but I'd rather let someone more experienced comment on that one - $?

      SS Dagger is a reproduction - $0

Of the daggers, the orange gripped 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger by Weyersberg looks like a nice original example. The brown SA dagger by Voss also looks nice & unmessed with. The black SS dagger is absolutely a reproduction, no question whatsoever. Offhand I'd say roughly $600 for the Luftwaffe & $500 for the SA but someone more versed in current values might adjust that.

The 1st dagger is some type of Arabic dagger but you already knew that by referring to it as a jambiya, right? I'm not sure what the 2nd dagger is & whether it's a Fairborn Sykes or not. There will undoubtedly be someone more versed on non-German blades on here that can confirm it or not.

I forgot to comment on the Luftwaffe, it looks good with the waffenamt stamped under the mm.

In regards to prices things do not seem to be selling at their "market value" these days... I would give a lower than expected evaluation if you're wanted to sell fast. And no I'm not saying this just so I can buy them :P

Estand Early SA, similar condition @ $425.00 since May 21st
