Dagger maker mark question

I was wondering what you guys think about this maker mark. I am not sure about it, it looks like something you would see on reproduction blade.

I have never seen this trademark executed so poorly on a period daggeer . JMO.

I agree with Craig. Not only is the logo poorly done, but so is the blade etch pattern itself. I'd be very suspicious of this blade & maybe the dagger too.

it was a navy dagger that sold on estand. I know the guy who sold it and he is one of the good guys so I am sure he did not know. But the buyer should know about it.

I just checked but the sale is already removed so I do not know how to contact the seller. His name is Tony (I think), I bought stuff from him before with no problems. So I hope he or buyer see this thread.

PM a moderator to contact the seller, they should still be able to access the old sale listing even though it's no longer available on the estand.
