    Chained SS Dagger Question

    Gents,

I need a little help here. How did Offiziers wear their chain linked daggers without a belt? I.e. walking out dress? As you know the method for wearing it on the belt was a belt loop and "D" ring, Dagger hangers made inside the bluse or mantel had a clip and obviously the chain on the scabbard has a clip as well and the over the shoulder baldrics have clips as well so two clips can't clip together.

Any info or pictures would be greatly welcomed.

A tear drop shaped hanger (shaped like a normal sword hanger) was created with a squared off D-ring at the top to attach to the clip coming through the pocket slit. At the bottom was another squared D-ring to receive the clip from the dagger chain.

In the alternative, an attachment ring was sewn to the inside of the pocket to receive the clip from the dagger chain.
