    Help with k98 Bayonet

    Hey guys,

    My uncle just picked this bayonet up. If anyone could give me some info on this it would be greatly appreciated

      Looks to me like the Austro - Hungarian Mannlicher bayonet - made ​​in Germany. (German screws on the handle)
      Judging by the serial number, seem to have served in the Portuguese ( or, Spain) army.
      I'm not 100% sure, so I apologize in advance if I'm wrong.

        I think that your bayonet is a Turkish Model 1935. They converted large numbers of bayonets to fit their M1935 rifle but I think that this bayonet was manufactured entirely in Turkey and is not a conversion. Somone else may have some input.

          I looked a slightly better, I agree with the conclusion - Turkish m1935.
