Need help ID'ing a possible hunting knife...

Hi all,

I'm considering a lot of misc TR daggers, and this knife is in the lot. It has a Damascus etched blade, and what appears to be gold inlays. Is this a pre-war hunting knife? I'm trying to at very least get a feel for its age and authenticity.

It's not 3rd Reich.It looks like it may be mid eastern.

that type is persian type of the knife and it was not used for hunting mainly as the dress knife.

hello dzyner, the dagger you have there is a pesh kabz islamic/indo persian
dagger with a wootz blade (damask) cheers brenig.

Hi guys. After several months of holding onto this Persian Kard knife, I'm finding it would be better suited for a collector specializing in such a thing so I'm considering selling it. That said, I don't know where to begin with regard to finding potential buyers. As this is a WW2 era forum, I'm assuming this won't fall into most collectors cross hairs. Any suggestions?
