    Basic OR's Sabre with Waffenamts

A bit of quick help please!!!, I seen this NCO/OR's sabre this morning, I probably should have bought it but um'd and ah'd, now I'm thinking about going back and getting it.

Is is OK? it seems very clean with matching numbers and waffenamts. The scabbard seems blued rather than painted. The blade is in lovely condition though I can't see any markings on it other than a what looks like a 7 on the edgae of the blade.
Not that I've ever really looked at too many others, but is that leather fringer loop standard??

I've not got one of these and this seems like a reasonable example.
The asking price was £180 ($280)..is that about right for one of these.

    Opinions gratefully received

It is good and that is a good price for it especially in Europe. And most of the times the leather piece above the crossguard is missing.

                Early Police/Fire Saber
                Looks ok to me.
                Skin excess is fully preserved.

Military issue made by Carl Eickhorn in 1938.

Nice piece - £180 is a very good price IMO.

                      Buy it !

One of the better condition examples that I have seen. The scabbard bluing looks great! Kevin..
