Original IMO. I'm not on totally aware current prices for these but think it's in the $450 - $700 range.

I agree with Fred. Looks OK to me actually better than my Takedown! I like it. Butch

                I´m sorry, but i´m not certain. ..

Fakes/copies are very well made these days and what makes me worried is, first of all, the mismatch between SMF blade and Paul Weyersberg handle.

The makers mark should also be etched not stamped (is it?) and the nose of the king is a little too round... The rust seems also rather new, not an age of 67+... Finally the rivets of the lever are not of stainless steel (?), which in my opinion it should be (at least for all SMFs). The internal rivets seems (placing) correct to a Weyersberg knife.

These guys are getting better and better... I have found some "Fliegerkappmesser" model II, in mint condition, with blade etched
0/00561/019 (Paul Weyersberg). The relation between non take down and take down, on the market today, seems strange. It should be approx. 3:1...

                Best regards,

                MW

It should of course be 0/0561/0020 on the blade, sorry...
