Knot for opinion

Over the weekend, I found a couple of nice German items. I would just like to assure myself of their originality.
Please tell me what you guys think of these 2 items.

Like you see in the pic, everything is tight and nothing glows under the black light.

From what type of materials are they made?

I think this piece is for the railroad, after a little bit of research. Compared to another one I found on a dealer site I believe it to be original.
More opinions would be appreciated before I place this for estand sale.

The wire on the ball of the silver and black one isn't coiled very tightly, it shows more of the thread it's wrapped around than most. The thread seems maybe a little too white too. That one might need a closer look.

The silver and black one doesn't seem to have the same quality or age as the all silver one. The wire and the twist on the ball of the all silver one is tight, and the thread underneath, as well as the wire, have a patina. It looks like there's some spots at the crown where the wire's flatten some with use. The silver and black knot isn't wound as tight and a lot of thread shows though, and the colors don't look aged. The weave on the strap is a lot coarser on that one too. The black dot material seems a little coarse. Maybe the quality wasn't great, and it's mint, but it doesn't look right to me. I'm not an expert though and these are just my observations. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
