It appears to be a period original piece. Without seeing the entire dagger it's impossible to offer advise on a purchase or suggest a value.

I wouldn't pay much on pieces that are in rough condition.

There should be Ges. Gesch. stamped on the blade under the oval medallion at the reverse.

It is stamped on the blade and the price is well below dealers price.
I will bring better pictures tonight.

That blade is rough. These are common with mint blades. Best regards.
