My opinion is that this is a very correct and beautiful example of the aluminum fitted Luft officer sword!! Kevin.

One of the nicest examples that I’ve seen for quite some time - a government issue Officer’s model sword for (primarily) senior grade NCO’s who were entitled to wear the Officer’s knot. FP

Mark, No knots on the swords, for the ‘Unteroffizier mit Portepee’ the knot was worn only on their daggers. Best Regards. FP
