Maybe you mean the book of Ralf Siegert? In my opinion the best book about SA-daggers. This book is not new, but the first range was sold out quick, so a second one was produced. It should be aviable...

Hi Keith, and welcome among us! The book by Ralf Siegert -- "The Service Daggers of the S.A. and the N.S.K.K." -- published in 2009 is an excellent reference work on the subject; it is certainly the best single source of information that has appeared in the hobby thus far. The background material is extensive and the photos, both color and b/w, are of superb quality. As to criticisms, one that seems true is that the original manuscript of the text was written in German and then translated into English, though the translation appears to have been rushed -- probably to quickly get the finished work published and available to an English-speaking audience -- and the result is English language that is sometimes awkward in terms of usage. The English version of this book would have benefited by spending more time with an English-speaking editor and proofreader. Also, the binding is a bit cheap and frail, especially for a book that costs $150.00, and may not last through the years of heavy use. But since this is a subject that is new to in-depth publication, this particular volume may be surpassed in the future. But for now, it is indeed the best to be had anywhere and I would commend it to you. Hope these comments are helpful, and again, welcome!
