This was sent to me by one of our local pawn shops, he wants $299 for it. I haven't seen it in person and that's the only photo. Anything stand out about it?

Poor photo but all looks original. If that's a maker mark on the blade and a gruppe stamp on the crossguard then it's been taken apart and put back together backwards. Not much here for a collector due to iffy condition but might be useful for parts. -
It may be worth near $299.00 only for the parts, however the blade and scabbard are in Very bad rusty condition with little value to most collectors.
