IMHO, the maker's mark lacks the detail that it should have. I would stay away.

Sorry about the poor quality of the picture. Here is a better picture.
I find the maker's mark quite sharp. OK with the very cloose up picture it is maybe less sharp.

Are you referring to the swirl patterns on the scabbard?
I have seen many fakes with that pattern, but some real ones also. There is at least one in Wittmann's book.
And that maker mark is bogus for sure

This dagger is a repro and are usually found at many gun and military shows waiting for unsuspecting buyers !
