    HJ Bayonet

    Hi all,

This unmarked HJ bayonet is offered to me. I know there are a lot of fakes in the field, and I'm also not so sure about this one... So what are your opinions?

    Thanks!!!

Remco, looks like a made up peice to me with repro hj insignia fitted into the bayo griplate with glue, the daimond shape in the grip was most likely cut out with a mini dremel tool, i would pass on this peice

My opinion is that it has been altered post-war. The grips are removable, which would make it easy to do. The badge appears to be glued in. Also, I don't believe that the HJ had any use for parade bayonets.

      Regards,
      Kent G.

Most definitely an original KS98 that someone altered post-1945 to make it look sexier than it is. Pass for sure.
