Miniature sword with question letter opener

I´ve got those 2 miniature letter openers. The toledo is tourist crap from the seventies i figure. But the other one seems old to me. Can anybody help me with identifiing the one with the birdhead ?? It is about 19 cm in length.
    Thanks in advance

The P guard sword is German tourist crap. It is a generic sword that you will often find etched with the names of tourist places. It is not a specific sword type.

But it must be old. If you look at that portopee per example. I did not expect to get a huge amount of money for that but i would like to know in what era it was made and maybe who made it. Especially there is nothing etched in the blade.
      Kind regards

Yes, these can be old. Yours is probably from the WWII era or before. You can still find these at German tourist spots.

                  Hi Skalp,

i would judge it as a pre TR-Period.

There is no similarity, with those of the TR-period.IMO

Thanks a lot for the answer. I was also thinking it must be old only looking at that miniature portopee. I will use it as a letter opener
