Very nice K98 bayonet and frog..

This K98 bayo arrived yesterday.
The blade still got almost all of the blueing. The rest just needs a little light cleaning.
The makermark is S/155G and stand for: E.u.F. Hörster, Solingen 1935.
The frog also is in very good condition, but I'm a little concerned about it's authenticity. It's almost in too good condition. Can anyone tell me if it's an original piece ?
As far as I can see the stamps are WaA 323 (A. Fischer Guttstadt 1938-39) ??
and on the back: 0/0378/0007. What does the stamp on the back mean ?

I also do not think that the frog is authentic. It has no rivets to re-enforce the stitching and even very late war produced frogs had them. I also have never seen a waffenamt marking on a frog and do not know why one would be applied. The button on the hilt retaining strap looks very new. I think that if it were me, I would get another frog to put on the bayonet. You have a very nice bayonet and it should have a real frog on it. They are not hard to find.

Yes the frog is a repro, there was not normally waa stamped.

Looks like I got fooled on the frog Never mind, it had to happen some day and i got it real cheap.
I have allready swapped it with an authentic frog, that I had laying around.
