it has probably been together for a long time !

Has anobody seen alreadythis kind of frog marked NPEA ?

I’m in agreement. Probably obliterated by the new stampings, if the frog is a darkish brown it looks to me like somebody ruined a 1937 dated Luftwaffe frog. With the stamps being the ordinary types you find in a hardware store - and here is a link to what a set looks like that is for sale for less than $13 dollars. FP

Although I never say never, NPEA frogs were usually 1 rivet frogs & (almost) never 4 rivet variety. I agree too that the stampings look to be more recently done to embelish an otherwise plain item.

And what does it say? Naumberg? If it was real (which I don't believe) then it should be NAUMBURG.
