Congratulations Eric, excellent example with extra goodies.

It's always interesting to see how items are described on the bring back papers. Last one I found had two armbands described as German Insignia.

Almost as vague as we are when we fill out Customs Forms to send items overseas.

Nice scoop, i have seen his name on the roles when researching, and wondered if he was a distant relative of robins, then this turns up here. Does it appear in person like it may have been polished somewhere along the way. Still a very nice scoop, and a good maker. Could it possibly have been a Roehm ss at one time, and that's why its been polished on the back , and not on the front,....as i recall the roehm enscripotion ss daggers were from the first group (I) possibly why it also isn't more pronounced in the middle of the back of blade....? Dagger blades are always tough to photograph to see them as you do in hand.....may just be the lighting.
