Yes, it is. I guess early Klittermann&Moogs are.

7/29 is the RZM code for Klittermann & Moog. They along with the Jacobs firm are the only 2 who apparently used an asterisk with the motto. A police sword by this firm surfaced several years ago and the fact that they made police swords was unknown according to T Wittmann up until this time.

I've had several and kept one, all with painted scabbards. But yours looks great, I don't see any problems
