    Silver wkc heer - slanter?

Hey fellas - i make this to be an early wkc with textbook features and a slant grip. By the way, are there any 'glass' slants? Comments welcome and thanks.

Super nice and correct initial production WKC! I haven't seen a slant grip in the glass like substance but that sure is a very nice pristine example, maybe they made some? Most I have seen with the glass grip are very translucent and look like there are particles "suspended" in the grip... Kevin.

thanks heaps kevin! so it's a slanter, good to get confirmation. dont see any bits suspended, amber-like so I guess just an early trolon....

The one in Tom Wittmann's book was mine. I think Bob Rodgers has it now. I don't remember the grip being like glass though. I do like yous.

Thank you, nota. So it's apparently a reference book-worthy example; more good news!

One thing I remember about my dagger is that the blade was slightly wider than the standard Army dagger.

                    Very nice piece.
                    Is the scarbard magnetic ?
I own a simillar piece with a non magnetic scarbard ...

                            Really nice WKC.
By forge marks, are you referring to a number stamped on the tang and there not being one on yours?

                            Regards,
                            Frank

thanks. I meant should there be on heer tangs as with many political daggs an initial or two?
