          Looks like a poor cast repo as these aluminum examples are fairly smooth

            Hello,
            I´ve just got this piece (without scabbard) and would pe pleased for your opinion.
            I am not sure if all parts are genuine and hope that some collectors of these beautiful swords could tell me.

                I had a chance to look at one of these a few weeks ago. They are made in India. Structurally it was fairly well made but the final finish was rather crude, and the leather on the handle and the scabbard was more like wall paper. The floral engraving around the pommel was done poorly as well. It may look rather impressive mounted high up on the wall towards the ceiling but at a closer look it would never pass as original.

                        I agree, the quality doesn't seem to be there. Dimensions of the pommel decor seem incorrect too.. Kevin.
