Help with hanger

Hi guys!

I posted this hanger in the Equipment forum, but didn´t get any responce, so one guy suggested that I should post it here, he thought it looked like a hanger for an early LW-dagger.

What do you guys say?

I see what you mean about a LW hanger, but this is not a dagger hanger
it is a equipment D ring with a bit of chain attached

I agree, but used for what pupose?
