Officers sword "scharnhurst pattern"

I recientley acquired this sword from vets son. Do not know much about swords.
The sword is in excellent condition with a mint blade. All of the gilding is in tact. The scabbard has some places where paint is off but overall scabbard is in very good condition.

Any information would be appreciated.

Scharnhorst, Is a model in the Eickhorn Field Marshall series.
