I'll post some more pics at the end of the day today. I have a few more of the inscription and a few others. What is your thoughts on the leather suspension. In person it looks very thin and very new. but again, I am no expert on this. I'll post more pics later. Thanks for your review.

For me, the entire dagger and hanger is typical Toledo Spain, 1970 era.

        An over polished reproduction.

Looks like 2 for and 2 against. In my opinion the weight and feel seem just like my SA dagger, but like DR DOLCH said it is very shiny and bright, particularly the blade. I'd like to hear what others say as well.

PS. It would not surprise me if this is repro, as the two other posts I did for items from this private seller turned out to be bad. (wwi parade helmet, luger holster).

          Thanks for the review guys.

I sold one just like it this past Winter as a repro.

Was it with "etched" or with "engraved" motto?

i've asked him for some close ups....

These are the last of the pics I have.

Also, I notified the seller last week that I wasn't interested in the dagger and let him know it was a reproduction. He act not very surprised and we ended the conversation normally. I'm guessing he probably already knew it was a fake.

I don't like it. The fit of the grip to the upper fitting is poor. the eagle inset looks as if it has been added from the original and the top fitting on the scabbard looks like a poor fit.
