    Early Lionhead Officer´s Sword

    Hi!

I want to show this early Lionhead Officer´s Sword. Made by Hörster with marked 12 12 38. I know the gilding of the grip isn´t good but the condition of the scabbard and blade is very god. Scabbard is originally painted. WEhat are youre opinions?

    Best regards
    Bernhard

PS: This is the one who i think first time that is a SS Officer´s Sword but it isn`t.

Original Sword. Repainted scabbard. Very worn plating. Not in 'collector condition'.
I wouldn't want it in my collection for free.

I like it. It's real. It was there. It's a part of history.

Thanks for your opinions. I´ll just make better pictures in the next days. I don´t think that the scabbard is new painted...

Its definitely real. Cant say for sure about the scabbard due to the pictures...While not the most collectable sword out there, I still think it would make a nice entry level piece for a new collector, if priced as accordingly.

I'm VERY new to this, but while it is definitely not mint, I think it has "character". I would be glad to own it.

Thanks for your opinions. Is this one from the "field marshall" Series?

                        Best regards

The Field Marschall series were all Eickhorn products.

Thanks a lot for this information. I didn´t look for the mm, only see the same grip at this series.

It is real. Not mint but real.
