    P.D.Luneschloss Jawless Lionhead Sword

    Hi Guys
Looking for comment on this P.D.Luneschloss Sword that I bought years ago.
I have never found anything in texts regarding this particular model (Jawless Lionhead).
Is there a model number for it ?
And what would be its rarity or value in todays market ?
    Enjoy the pictures !
    Richard

No sword pro but I must say that is a great looking sword! Really like the patina and color of the gilding. As you probably allready know this configuration of jawless hilt and third reich crossguard is rarely seen as the jawless lion head is mostly seen before WW1! Not suprised that it's a P.D. Luneschloss though, they seemed to do there own thing didn't they? Good luck on getting more info and thanks for showing. Kevin.

That's a fine sabre . Its a textbook example and hard to find . I try to stay away from using the term "rare ". third Reich army swords are hard to find in general when compared to daggers . I would say a realistic value. Of it would be about 750-800. Although swords are harder to sell and finding the right person is key .

Fyi , an example of this sword can be seen on page 109 of the angolia sword.book . A must for any third reich sword collector .
