Lion head sword.

Hello,

Some guy got this sword for free when he moved into his new house from the old owner.
The scabbard is repainted IMO.
What do you guys thinks or ?

The scabbard does not go with this sword at all. The dimensions are all wrong, especially on the drag and there should be no number on it . Also look at the throat, there should not be hardly any room or play when the sword is sheathed. This is a bad sword all around. It reminds me of one of the Chinese repros only done a bit better. Hilt is artificially aged and wire wrap was intentionally left off to make it look like it had a long and rough journey over the years. Backstrap and ferrule are poorly chiseled and the eagle is just down right hideous. The hilt is actually a made up example, which has traits of a Paul Weyersberg and Anton Wingen sword.
