    Scabbard Help.

Can anyone help me identify this scabbard. It is marked MADE IN GERMANY, and appears to be a prewar leather and nickel scabbard. The interior of the throat is wood. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Jeremiah

      Jeremiah,

That scabbard was used on early imported 2nd Luft daggers into the U.S.
I believe Golden State arms found a horde of 2nd Lufts with no scabbards and had these made.

Here's an ad they also ran back-in-the-day for SA daggers.

Wags is right on the money. These came in during the 1950s and were used on 2nd Luft and Army leftover parts pieces from Solingen manufacturers.

Thank you! That makes perfect sense. Its a pretty nice scabbard that came in a box lot of random items. I had never seen one like it, and figured that it may be able to help someone out due to its condition.

Too bad we didn't buy all of those daggers for $5.98.

            Sincerely,

            Jeremiah
