Need help identifying this Dagger...

I need some help identifying this particular dagger/knife. Sorry, I only have the two shots, but I'm thinking its enough to at least identify it so I know what to search for when doing research.

I collect German Daggers.

I'm not sure of the type of dagger, but the ACS logo is the maker mark for Alex Coppel und Sohn, Solingen.

What you have appears to be some type of German police short sword. The hilt assembly makes me believe it's either Bayern or some state other than Prussia or Sachsen. If Bayern it would possibly have the "In Treue Fest" motto on the blade. Can you get any additional info on it? If anyone here knows, it would be George Wheeler ("Schupo").
