    Blade Inscription

Hi there guys. I looked at the dagger recently and here is what I am not too sure about. While dagger is 100%, I wonder about this blade inscription. Please chime in, all is appreciated.

    Thanks ahead

It does not show any runner marks or wear of any kind I find that odd.

Hi I must admit I am not very good with these. But must that I have seen are one or the other Luft. or Heer. Why would they put both on the same dagger?Othere than to try to raise the value?Best regards.

Typical dagger is good with a spurious etched blade ! So common thru the 60's and 70's even into today !

Also, while it could be the lighting to some extent - the blued (?) panel looks off color. Which is something that has caused problems for fakers for decades. FP

              Two thumbs down!

To add to the problems described above, the use of two different bookends, one for each side, is one that immediately caught my eye.

Thanks a lot guys ! The dagger itself was a beauty, but the inscriptions although sharp and impressive, looked as they were made that same morning. As well as you pointed, I thought that only one side should have been done.

                Again, thanks to all
