    Luftwaffe Sword

    Gentlemen,

    Luft blades are not my thing, so I would appricite some help with this sword. Look ok? Approx value?

        Is there a seam on the scabbard? It shouldn't be there. What's the maker?

          This sword and scabbard appears to have been re-leathered.

            This sword is a current reproduction from India. The leather is genuine but not a very high grade. The blade is steel but also much heavier than the original blade and the scabbard fittings are held by aluminum brads.

                  These swords were available for a few years now from other sources. Last year Collectors Armoury carried them and then had a sell out for $60 each. Now I found a source thats even cheaper.
