I bought this without consulting you dagger experts, it may have come back to bite me. Problems to me are the wire on the grip are two different types and the blade has no maker mark and doesnt look like the ones I have researched. Is it good? If it isnt, is any of it good? part it out? thanks for the opinions.

Hello
First, thsoe army army hangers, not luft. Second, definately not a 2nd model luft blade. Can't realy tell what kind it is from the pics. Maybe clearer ones.
Third, wire on grip is defintely had a workoover. Not sure is that thin is 2nd Luft grip wire. maybe 2nd model navy wire. Can't tell without a clear close up. Ron

Wow, strange blade with no central plain as is needed on all Luft blades! Looks like the dark grip wire might be the original one. Guard and pommel are early types used initially by many makers, grip does not look early like fittings. WKC made scabbard with as said previously, Heer hangers. I would say a parts dagger with homemade?? blade?? Kevin.
