    Hello guys,

got offered some daggers today, but as I'm no expert on these ones, I need your help if good or not.

Have only these photos ... hope they are good enough.

    Best regards,

I do not like it IMO. The black scabbard is wrong, the numbers on the scabbard are wrong, maker mark is very hard to see from the pics, but I have a feeling that blade is bad also. Again this is my opinion only. So see what other people say.
There is reproductions of this daggers for some time now.

It's copy has a lot of red flags. (scabbard, number, DRGM). It piece interesting for study copy dagger compare with original dagger.

Scabbard, scabbard numbers, blade with maker's mark & blade numbers, pommel looks iffy too. In total something to leave where it is. Eventually they'll get the copies right but that time hasn't happened quite yet, judging from this one.

For all reasons mentioned = a 'walk away' dagger.

I would also be concerned about the rest of the grouping like that NFSK 1st Luft.

Repro for sure. Pommel and crossguard say everything, not to mention the "unique" black scabbard.

This is one of the Czech copies, not sure where the black scabbard came from but these never have numbers in them, someone tried to have numbers inscribed into to try to make it appear more "original". This is an older copy as the new ones are much better but still lack the details and numbers yet. Just wanted to add to this thread to help a little.

                            Hello all,

told the owner that this one is a fake.

He said he still sold it to an "expert" who had a book where this one is shown as an original one.

I think someone throwed 3000 Euro out of the window!

Thanks to all who saved me from a loss!!

                            Best regards,

                            Joerg
