    SS dagger M7/14 RZM1051/40

This is a strange dagger I found it is sold with a SA chained scarab.....

The maker mark is strange because 7/14 is PD Luneschloss and 1051 is Klaas?

Is either dagger or scarrab genuine or is it all crap, I know the state they are in are terrible .....

Scabbard an chain look ok Imo, some ss makers were given the same code .

Interesting, looks like the SS man preferred the SA chain to the SS one with the skulls and runes....I sort of like the look of the two of these together, the condition is bad but I have seen worse.

Berra , the maker mark is a good one . the switch over of the SS code was in 1940 , as both made some daggers that year. the code went from Klaas to Luneschloss. never seen information on why. no comment on the scabbard ,not an "expert" on chained daggers.
but , looks like the 2 were together & stored badly for many years. jeff

We will never know how the dagger came to be the way it is. I like it and would keep it like it is.Perhaps the veteran put it together out of the piles of daggers at the end of the war?

Of course, the dagger and the scabbard don't belong to each other, but both look original to me.
Now you just need to find the RZM NSKK in similar condition, make a switch and you'll have 2 correct daggers
