Hey guys, I picked this beauty up a few weeks ago and have not until now had the chance to post pictures of it and more will come. It came from the same trip in which I found the SA dagger pictures which was recently sold on the Estand. This Prinz will probably find its way on the stand soon too......
This piece had essentially perfect scabbard paint with light crazing, the only missing paint is on the bottom of the drag. The blade is perfect and is marked with the eickhorn mark. No speckling, no nicks, no darkening, perfect tip....mint blade. The hilt is no less impressive featuring a 100% mint "celluloid" wrapped grip that still maintains its original sheen and is nick, chip or even scratch free. This hilt is nearly solid GOLD. The Gilt of this beauty is like none i've seen in hand! the eagle maintains 100% of the gilt and sheen as does essentially all of the hilt. The only wear present is on the "wear side" of the "D" guard...if its called that on such a model! Enjoy
