Wanted to share my latest find. I bought these at the last Pomona show. I needed a variation with the leather reinforcements and stumbled on this unissued late war set.

Minty and unusual set Frank! I like how they shaped the leather tab like the metal tabbed ones. The rivets and non-velvet backing are also less seen. I wonder if those are also signs of late construction? I don't know. Finish on metal fittings is great too! Congrats..
