Sword ID Help

I have no idea what type of sword is or it's value.It is 40' OAL,Thanks for any ID and value help.

It looks like a British model 1821 cavalry sword. Similar ones were imported into the U.S. in the 19th century from Germany. Any markings? FP

I agree with FP it is probably Wilkinson, that was the most common maker of this sword.

There is not a mark on it.I concur on being 1821 British.Anyone else ? Thanks FP for the info.
