    Machete question??

I have tryed posting the mancete in the international militaria forum, with no luck, so i will try here.
boyt44 thing it is a australian, but it has not yet been confirm.

I found this mancete the other day.

The former owner told me that hes granfather brought it back from Burma after WW2.

The blade is stampt G in a diamon and CF & F 1942.

Can anyone tell me what country it belongs to??
And if it is a common thing or is it rare??

Well, like I said when it was posted elsewhere,I believe the G in a diamond is the symbol for Gregsteel, an Australian company in business up to around 1975. (a Google search turned up a bit of info on it). As this blade was used in Burma, It's source as Australia is highly likely. I don't know how CF&F would relate to Gregsteel, though.
