I got these pictures in an email today. The seller is awaiting an offer. Well, edged weapons are not really my field, so I wanted to see what you guys have to say about it and if everything is Ok with it, what would be a fair price.

What's going on with the pebbling on the scabbard? Are there areas that are smooth or is it a trick of the lighting? Perhaps an aggresive polishing?

Blade appears to be sandpapered or steel wooled below the ricasso as it should be bright with nice crossgraining. DRK Daggers had a well finished bright blade with the ricasso area appearing to be plated on originals

The blade can be "rescued" by someone who knows the job, but the scabbard has been heavily abused, so the price drops. No idea what is it worth with a scabbard like this.

By the info I got from all of you, I am assuming the dagger and scabbard are original, but have been abused with whatever, to make it look nicer/shinier?
