Genuine hj knife scabbard thats has been stripped of its black enamel paint then either polished/buffed up or chromed imo.

Didier, there is a very small chance it could have been chromed back in the period but to be honest it was most likely done post ww2, i dont think the hj was authorised to do such things & it wouldnt have been easy to do during the war imo.

I'd have to agree with Mac... this is a post war job. Some people just like the flashy, likely the scabbard was beat up and lost a lot of paint so they sanded it down and added that, all things are pre-'45 except the chrome!
