    Help with luft. swords

I have a chance to purchase a couple of swords from a vet’s son. The swords look original, but the maker’s marks look totally postwar to me. What do you guys think based off the makers marks? Any help would be appreciated.

The marks are fine. Both makers are know for very light markings. Malsch is usually not found on swords.

Thanks guys I plan on making an offer today. Hopefully I get them because the guy is trying to play hardball acting like one minute he’ll sell them, the next not wanting to. I hope I get them because the vet is a paratrooper and I have the name ( I’ll post more about him if I get the 2 swords and dress dagger). The story goes: (I know buy the item not the story) that he took it down from the Eagles Nest that they were crossed on the wall. He says he has a photo of them with his dad and the swords at the Nest and is looking for it now. What does make me think is that both swords are the exact same length....But who knows, but if he finds that photo that would be neat, if not they are nice swords as is.
            Thanks for the help,
            Mike
