    Land Customs Dagger

I have a Luger collector friend who asked that these photos be posted of a Customs dagger he took in trade. Ive expressed my opinion on it and will encourage him to join our site, he will monitor comments, has an unusual Clememt and Jung mark that I just asked questions about on a WWI sword.

    Thanks guys

            Steve,

I don't think there's anything unusual about those Clemen & Jung marks. The dagger looks fine to me. Please have your friend PM or email me if he's interested in selling it, I've been looking for a decent Land Customs.

Very nice. Typical Clemen & Jung Customs. He was the main maker of Customs edged weapons IMO.

Clemen & Jung was one of the few makers of edged weapons whose TM consisted of two parts, one part on each side of the blade. Their mark was the words, Clemen Und Jung, Solingen, on one side of the blade and the stylized crown within shield on the other.
