IMO Original, it looks like a unprofessional restored Cellar Find

Its an original WW2 era 3rd pattern, The crossguard is stamped /|\ I which denotes Indian issue but still a UK made knife. The england stamp denotes that it was exported from the UK. Not a common 3rd pattern but condition leaves it with little value.
