I have this nice Police bayonet. It has a large size knot. The scabbard is marked S.B. 3606. The marking have been removed from the back of the cross guard but the top of the blade and the top of the scabbard are both stamped 182. Hard to get good photo of the blade but it is a 8 on a 10 scale. Thanks for any opionions. Kirby

Nice honest looking piece. The bulb on the knot looks large so maybe the knot is for a sword instead of a bayonet. I've seen a bunch like this so I don't see any problem with it at all.Comment
