Dagger part
I picked it up from a forum member and my dagger reference books were loaned out (I will never loan them out again, so to my friends, do not even ask !!!)
, he saw I had a NSKK chain without the centerpiece and both of us thiought it might help for a centerband until I found the right one. But as you said it is missing the ring, and it will not work, I really did not mind having it. But my reference books were returned and I had trouble figuring out exactly what it was, I had said from the start it was a piece for a honor dagger ???
